This ketuba design is based on images of an ancient ketubot from Rhodes, an island off the coast of Greece, to reflect the heritage of the groom. The three circles at the top, the flowers, the passage around the top circle, the scroll pattern in the border, and the colors, are all typical of some of the ketubot from Rhodes.
