I often create a personalized Midrash for newborns, using information about the baby's personality, as described by the parents. Since this little boy is almost 2, and has already displayed his traits, the mother shared that he is strong, yet tender, like the Sweet William flower. Using this information, plus the fact that his Hebrew name, Zev, means wolf, all were happy with the Midrash: strong as a wolf, tender as a flower. It seemed appropriate that the design be strong, yet have delicate tendrils.
