ENCLOSURE CARDS
TO INCLUDE WITH INVITATION
Enclosures are sometimes needed for:
• inviting guests to parties or meals other than the main event
• inviting only out-of-town guests to extra events
• providing directions to the synagogue and/or hotel
• requesting that guests give donations to specific organizations
instead of tangible gifts
I try to include imagery that reflects the event and also ties into artwork used on other parts of the invitation set. For direction and donation cards, which tend to have more writing, I usually use computer fonts rather than hand-calligraphy. This both reduces cost and allows smaller writing to help all the required information to fit on the small card.
